Greetings ALMA Family!
We wanted to give you an update of our “off-season” happenings. First we want to say we are THANKFUL everyday for a number of reasons: being able to create public artwork in our home state of NM, working with the talented youth of NM, and coming into our very own non-profit organization of ALMA.
Las Cruces Mural
We have been working on a mural in Las Cruces, NM in collaboration with Las Cruces Parks & Recreation and Las Cruces Arts Board. The mural is located in front of Las Cruces City Hall. We are very close to finishing and will feature pictures on our website soon! Though, feel free to check out our social media for more updates.
We Are Moving
In December we will be moving studios! We are moving to 12th & Mountain: in a building with a mural by David Santiago’s, It has one of his ladies on it. We will have a Studio House Warming/ Pre-Valentine’s Fun in February at our new studio. Keep an eye out for that date!
20th Anniversary
Our 20th Anniversary exhibition is on display at the National Hispanic Cultural Center until January 3rd, 2020. Please share this exhibit with your families and friends this holiday season. The exhibition is in the Literary Arts Building at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, 1701 4th St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102.
Officially A Non-Profit Arts Organization
We wanted to remind you all we are officially a Non-Profit Arts organization and without the generous support of grants, contracts and generous individuals, we wouldn’t be able to create these large in depth murals with youth apprentices.. Please think about donating to our organization for Giving Tuesday on December 3, 2020.
