In 2019-2020, ALMA in collaboration with the City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department and Public Arts Board created this water themed tile and painted mural.  It was made and installed by ALMA apprentices and youth from Las Cruces.  

It is an Acequia access point, located right in front of City Hall.  We understand the importance of water, especially in the desert.  We also respect the cultural and historic uses for acequias that are veins across New Mexico.  This is our way of honoring what acequias stand for.
